Sunny leads the estates practice at LeBeau Law. Clients rely on him for thorough estate and incapacity planning. He works closely with each client to create a tailored plan that reflects their unique needs, honours their wishes, and minimizes financial liabilities. Sunny regularly advises on and establishes inter-vivos trusts (including Alter Ego and Joint Partner trusts) and testamentary trusts, with particular attention to those involving disabled beneficiaries.

Helping clients in handling their loved ones’ estates is also a significant part of Sunny’s practice. He guides executors and administrators through the probate process, including obtaining estate grants and resealing foreign grants – always with a focus on cost-efficiency and timeliness.

Before joining LeBeau Law, Sunny served as in-house counsel for one of BC’s foremost real estate developers and as an associate at a leading mid-sized solicitors’ practice in Vancouver. He continues to leverage his experience in real estate law to help his clients not only buy, sell, and refinance, but to also structure ownership with estate planning goals in mind.

An affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Sunny earned his law degree from Thompson Rivers University, where he served on the Students’ Law Society as an executive member. As part of his legal education, he studied at the University of Münster in Germany. Prior to attending law school, Sunny worked as an advisor at the University of British Columbia, where he completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in political science and education, respectively. He also completed a French immersion program at Université de Montréal and can serve clients in Punjabi and Hindi.
